IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

  • Before bringing your little one to Glow, please make sure they have had a snack BEFORE they attend our crèche as we don't allow or provide food in the program. We also ask that children arrive with a fresh nappy or have been taken to the toilet before coming into the room. This helps our leaders facilitate a smooth focus on caring for and engaging the children throughout the lesson.
  • Our Glow leaders do not change nappies. If your child requires a nappy change during the program, we will contact you and ask you to attend to your child.
  • If we are unable to contact you and your child requires urgent personal care, a designated Glow Team Leader will follow TBC Kids’ approved emergency care procedures, prioritising your child’s health, safety and dignity.
  • We recognise that babies and toddlers may need to be picked up, held or comforted during their time in creche. Our Glow leaders may pick up and hold your child for the purpose of comforting, settling, assisting or ensuring their safety. All physical contact will be appropriate to the child's needs, age and development, and in accordance with TBC's Safe Church policies and procedures.

PARENT/GUARDIAN - PERMISSION / INDEMNITY SECTION

By signing this form, I understand that:

  • I as the parent/carer must remain on the church premises whilst ever my child is in the creche program and be readily contactable in case of emergency or if my child becomes unsettled.
  • All reasonable safety precautions will be taken at all times during Kids Church and that the Kids Church volunteers cannot be held responsible for personal injury, loss or damage incurred by my child.
  • I give permission for trained Kids Church volunteers to administer basic first aid to my child where required (e.g. band-aids, cleaning and covering minor cuts or grazes, applying ice packs for bumps, or similar), and understand that I will be informed of any such treatment as appropriate.
  • If urgent medical attention is needed, that every effort will be made to contact the child's emergency contact, as per this form. In the event that contact cannot be made, I authorise the leader in charge to take such action as may be necessary, including the calling of an ambulance and treatment by paramedics. I also authorise the Medical Response Plan as outlined above. I accept responsibility for all expenses associated with such treatment.
  • I am responsible for my children following the Sunday morning worship service (i.e. at all times outside of Kids Church) including if they should participate in any informal, unorganised, and unsupervised activity in the Centre.
